About Bobby

I’ve been in the health and fitness industry for 17 years training clients from all walks of life and helping them achieve their fitness goals. In my younger years, I was very actively involved in sports and martial arts leading me to represent my school in athletics at a national level. While in the army, I has also taught various forms of martial arts and self-defence tactics.

Fitness has always been my passion and it spurred me to pursue a degree in Sports Science at the Edith Cowan University, Australia to further enhance my knowledge in health and fitness. With skills in Sport & Exercise science and Exercise Rehabilitation for injuries, I’m able to cater to a wider range of clients, providing them the best training and knowledge possible to achieve their goals

Last but not least, I will leave you with my ABC approach to achieving your fitness goals:

  • A well balanced diet
  • Both cardio and strength training
  • Consistent rest / sleep for recovery

I started training with Bobby, with an aim to increase stability and strength. And he ticked all the right boxes. A punctual and dedicated trainer, with a wicked sense of humour, he made sure to squeeze every drop of sweat with every well planned session. The training has definitely helped with my passion for golf. I am more stable through my swing and also driving it longer.

Bobby is an excellent health coach. Before I started my sessions with him, we had fully discussed my health status and issues. He then designed my training accordingly and now I can feel my body regaining strength yet not overstraining myself. He has a tremendous knowledge of the body structure and muscle function which helps to keep the training balanced. Would strongly recommend him.

Bobby has really helped turn my health around over the past couple of years. Great training sessions, adjusting exercises as we go to meet my needs, and how I feel. Keeps the intensity at the right level, pushing me along with a mix of encouragement and humour, and has given me more strength and flexibility. Thanks Bobby, for all your help and really appreciate our time in the gym.

For me Personal training was new concept and so the initial evaluation before the training programme started was very useful. Improved flexibility and core strength were major goals and these would both improve daily life and my dragon boat racing. The two sessions each week have been varied with different exercises introduced as I have improved. The mid term assessment showed a good improvement in flexibility and increases in core strength beyond what I had expected to achieve. Bobby ensures that exercises are done with the correct posture, something which is very difficult to do alone. The variety of exercises and equipment make the programme interesting. Some exercises I enjoy, but some are sheer pain! I can however see the benefits, with my plank time increasing dramatically. Bobby’s programme has very much improved my strength and fitness in a way I could not have done on my own. I would highly recommend the programme and I am looking forward to the second half of the programme (apart from the burpees!!)
